christmas

christmas comes but once a year, now it's here. Now it's here. Bringing lots of joy and cheer. tra la la la la!

So christmas was awesome this year, but i'm going to back up to christmas eve, cause there's a great story there, too.

So on christmas eve my family and i were driving home from church, and i was driving. lol yea you can tell this is going to be good.... So everything was going good, and then all of a sudden this red squirrel runs across the road. and for some reason jodo and my mom start screaming, and i don't know what to do, so i just keep on going. So the squirrel's to the other side of the road by now, but then for some reason he decides to go back!!! and my dad was like, don't swurve, don't swurve! so i just keep on going..... and then i hit him. So then me and my mom and jodi were all screaming and my dad was laughing.... and it was really embarrasing, beacause my mom had to tell everyone we saw that day about it! yea that's my squirrel story.

So christmas was awesome this year. A little boring, because it was just us 6 and my two sets of grandparents! but fun too. I didn't get everything i asked for, but what i did get was awesome. Like, i got these awesome speakers for my mp3 player. and i got a travel journal for our trip, and jodi gave me these hershey ice cream dishes that are too cute! lol my dad and us three girls have this joke that he always gives us calendars for christmas, so this year he gave us ones from like shurgro and safeway, and one that had pictures of old tractors! my grandpa was eyeing that one up. haha. So then we had supper which was really fun! soo much food!! and it was soo good. lol my mom was talking about how there was a bug (like a cold) going around strathclair, and my 84 year old grandpa goes, "well why doesn't someone catch it and hit it over the head!". lol and i start laughing, but noone else does! i thought it was funny!

So today, all of my dad's sister's and one brother, and all thier family are coming out. for a week!!! yea needless to say, there really isn't enough room for all of them. but we'll manage somehow! One of the good parts about it is that i had to clean my room, like hard core clean up. You prolly wouldn't recognize it! It feels weird to me, it hasn't be that clean since the begining of july i think! haha
but i'm gonna go eat some breakfast.
