The Ins and Outs of 2006

So I got this email, and it was about the highlights of 2006, so i thought i'd do it on my blog. 2006 was a rockin' year for sure. First love, first kiss, first diss, and i really started to learn who i am as a person. So let's highlight the past year, shall we?

January was a month that i don't really remember... other than alot of basketball, and alot of fun!

February was a good month. My 'rents went on their annual winter vaca (without us) so us 4 girls spent a week with Auntie Linda. Also that same week, I went to honour band, and slept over at beth's house. Alot of crazy fun, "Do you have a reason, for a reasin?". haha too good. we were hard at work for our play, in june!

March this was a crazy month. So much fun. it was all so good. We made it to bball provincials and got second, which isn't bad. March was also my 15 birthday, which was the best one to date. An awesome night, thats for sure.

April and May flew by with some crazy moments, some not as good as others. we did go to a globetrotters game for bball windup, and that was really fun. The Sr. Band went to Moose Jaw in May, and some of it was really fun. other memories i could do without....

June had alot of awesome moments. Like relay for life. So much fun! It's always a blast. and grad was awesome, thats for sure.

July and August were so much fun. I was babysitting, almost the entire time, but the kids were so much fun. Then the last weekend in july my sisters and i went and helped my uncle at the branden folk fest!! haha that was the best weekend of my summer!! I met this awesome guy, Branden, but he lives in ontario, and was only out for the summer. We had alot of fun though, and we're still really close. His two cousins Devon and Derek (who live in brandon) are so cool. Hopefully we meet up next summer. I also spent a couple weeks at the hamiota pool, which was so fun.

September meant the start of another crazy busy school year. lol yea.... i really don't know what else happened..... kind of a boring month.

October wasn't really a good month. Nothing exciting or interesting happened. Halloween was alot of fun, as always "I'm an Eskimo Princess!!". lol too funny. oo jodo baggins, you can always make me smile!!

November was an incredible month! Ethan asked me out, and i said yes (obvisouly) and that was the start of a great month and a half, and still going strong!! I think that we also went to that TFK concert in Winnipeg, or maybe that was in october... yea, it would've had to been in october... ok so anyways, that was an incredible concert! I had an awesome time moshing and screaming along! haha. I also saw like the best movie ever, "the Prestige". Ya'll should go watch it, when it comes out on DVD. So good, totally didn't understand it, even at the end!! haha

December was really busy and soo much fun. We started bball (so pumped for that), and won our first tourney!! We also had the youth group formal, which was so fun. Everyone looked gorgeous. During christmas I spent almost all my money (which is kinda a tradition for me, i guess), but i love buying gifts for my friends and family. Christmas was so good this year. Everything i got was perfect, and i love it all. and then it was new years eve, which i spent at home with my family plus 35 other people. Yea kinda crowded, but so much fun. and tom, adri and i stayed up till 5 watching movies. lol then we got up at 9:30. but i wasn't even tired!!
o and during december, we discovered the fireplace channel! which is super relaxing and so cool. I love it, though its over tonight.. and that makes me sad lol.


So 2006 was another great year! lots of ups and downs, but all in all, it was perfect! Let's hope 2007 is just as good.
